Inspired by the renowned Salon du Chocolat in Paris, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Franco-Ecuadorian (CCIFEC) brings the essence of this prestigious event to Ecuador. This fair celebrates Ecuador's rich heritage as the cradle and origin of cacao, a fact supported by scientific research conducted over a decade ago by Ecuadorian and French experts in Palanda, Zamora Chinchipe Province. Historically, Ecuador is also celebrated for producing one of the finest varieties of cacao in the world: the fine aroma cacao.
