Parque de la Madre: Renovated with the Support of KIA

The Municipality of Cuenca and KIA have renovated the Parque de la Madre.

The project included the comprehensive repair of the park's infrastructure, ensuring the safety and comfort of its visitors. The Cuenca City Hall, through the EMAC company, with the contribution of KIA, developed the maintenance and modernization project in the Parque de la Madre, covering an area of approximately 2.5 hectares.

The work carried out included: the repair of the athletics track; the deck of the Mother sculpture, which retains its aesthetics and functionality; the remodeling of the central circle as a meeting and recreational space; and the repair of the parking lot exit cover.

To contribute to sustainability and environmental care, an electric vehicle charging station was installed; it is free to use and is intended to promote the use of clean energy and the transition to sustainable mobility. KIA assumed the cost of the electricity consumption for the charging station, reaffirming its commitment to the city and the environment.
