Description
Salinas Beach is the busiest beach in Salinas. Especially on weekends during peak season (December - April), it can be crowdy. The beach is 1.5 km (1 mi) long and mostly very narrow. The ocean here is calm, which makes this beach family-friendly.
Many activities are offered: paragliding, kayaking, skydiving, paragliding, fishing, and whale watching tours.

Man killed at Salinas Beach in daylight attack
At around 4 pm on Monday, December 4, 2023, a man was killed at Salinas Beach by individuals on a motorcycle. The victim, who used to sell food on the beach, has not yet been identified. It is not known why the man was targeted; he may have been involved in drugs, or he could have been a victim of extortion due to unpaid protection money.
