Climate

Ajijic has a semi-tropical climate with mild temperatures and low humidity throughout most of the year. The town is located in the state of Jalisco, on the shores of Lake Chapala, and is surrounded by the Sierra Madre Mountains. The altitude of Ajijic is approximately 5,000 feet (1,500 meters) above sea level, which helps to moderate the temperature and makes it a comfortable place to live and visit.

The average temperature in Ajijic is around 70°F (21°C) year-round, although temperatures can vary depending on the time of day and the season.
