Staying in Ecuador for Longer than 180 Days per Year
You will need a resident visa if you want to stay in Ecuador for longer than 180 days per year. With a temporary resident visa you can stay in Ecuador for 24 months, with the permanent resident visa you can stay in Ecuador for an unlimited period of time.
