Shopping Mall Milenium Plaza is a small, indoor shopping mall with a food court and cinema. Shopping Center El Vergel is a partially covered mall with a large and modern Supermaxi grocery store. The district also has some tiendas and specialty shops such as Carmen y Rosa and Primitivo Artisan Bakery. South of the neighborhood is the Mall del Rio, Cuenca's largest shopping mall.
The 27 de Febrero Market is a food market located within the neighborhood. Another option is the 10 de Agosto Market in the historic city center.
